So its now Saturday, and the blizzard that we got on, oh, Wednesday or so still is all over our front steps and walk. I was taking BIlbo out, and for the second time in as many days, I did a "Charlie Brown kicking the football" style fall. When I fell yesterday all that happened was I gashed my ankle open and got laughed at by those little bastards who live down the street. This time however I bruised my ass and bumped my head really hard. Like I wasn't stupid enough already. For some reason my landlord/housemate doesn't think its within her obligations to shovel that area. Lets see if that holds up in court when I sick Edgar Snyder on her ass :)
In other news, the MIT application has now shipped out. It was a long, iterative process, and I thank all of you who reviewed the essay, etc. for me. I'll keep you posted as to what happens.
Studying is not going too well. The subjectiveness of the requirements for my HCI Methods Finals is making it hard to determine how to focus. Same goes for my term paper in Applied Research Methods. I don't think it will ultimately be a problem, but I see myself having a tendency to start the inter-semester break before the semester is over. Bad idea if I am banking on passing this test!
Oh, well, back to it. I feel the urge to write about memory limitations in a web navigation task. Yeah, right.

Friday Morning. Three objectives left for the semester. In order, Methods Final (big one, 25% of grade), ARM Paper (pretty big too, 50% of grade), and completion of portfolio page for MIT to look at (100% of future). Plus I have to clean the house. Michelle's sister is coming in for the weekend, and bringing her copy of Lilo and Stitch, which apparently I just HAVE to see. Hopefully she'll bring me my copy of Swingers which she "borrowed" over three years ago. She is a chef, recently graduated from the Culinary of Institute of America, and is going to do something with chicken for dinner tomorrow. Should be special. So what am I gonna do now? Well, instead of the two CMU related objectives, which aren't fun, I'm gonna work on the MIT related one, which is fun. Hey, can't say I'm not forward-thinking :)

So here is my first real post. Damn did it take me a long time to figure out the formatting of this thing. And its still not right. Notice that the title bar gets cut off at the right. I'm past the point of trying to be a perfectionist though. So to all of you reading this (because I know I have many worthy followers), welcome. In the coming months, I have some plans for this site. The first one is to complete it. The second one is to write a lot about school, work, life, etc. The third is a pet project I have to make satires of other people's web sites. More on that later. Thanks to everyone who helped me with design ideas, fonts, etc.
