So, earlier tonight I was perturbed to see the overwhelming support for this weekend's nationwide war protests, and wrote a very opinionated editorial about my feelings on the foreign "situation" we find ourselves in. In the best interest of myself and my family, I feel it best not to post this on the highly accessible world of web logs. If any of you would like to read this (it was wonderfully well-written, by the way), please email me and I'll send it to you. Good night! Tuesday, January 14, 2003
I was just walking down the hall, and a lady said to a man "I'm sorry to bother you", and he replied "Noooo....thats what I'm here for!". In this world of false niceties and veiled intentions, at least get it right, man!. So he was basically saying "I am here to be bothered by you, and I agree that you are indeed bothering me". A better, but equally bullshit reply would have been "No, its no bother at all". Silly humans. Monday, January 13, 2003
Ok, so the first day of school kicked my ass. Advanced Java was surprisingly the easiest class of the day. Game Design, on the other hand, while being intrinsically interesting, is going to be one of the more challenging classes of my career, if not solely for having to be so damn creative all the time. Thats it. I'll report in on my other classes tomorrow. For now, its bedtime! Sunday, January 12, 2003
So I'm going to see "Maid in Manhattan" this afternoon. You know, I could see some boring movie like "Gangs of New York", or maybe something a little over-rated like "Lord Of The Rings", but no, I'm putting my money on "Maid In Manhattan". I have heard that Jennifer Lopez (her friends apparently know her simply as J. Lo), turns in a riveting performance as a maid, in Manhattan. Its a light-hearted comedy much along the lines of her other classics: "Enough" and "The Cell". And why would I shell out my hard-earned dollars to see Tom Hanks in "Catch Me If You Can", when I can see Ralph Fiennes light up the screen with his impeccable impression of an American accent. Now THAT's entertainment! |
