Ever had one of those days that was just a total roller coaster? That was today. I was at school until midnight doing a "mood board" for a project in Interface and Interaction Design. A mood board is basically a photo collage which depicts the emotions associated with using a particular product, etc. So, I was already tired when I woke up this morning, but I was elated at how well my group's mood board had come together. So that was an up. Then I had to go to Java class, and the professor had decided to employ an obtuse teaching methodology today (I'd describe it, but words don't do it justice). So that was a down. Then, I had to go take a midterm in Programming Usable Interfaces, which I had been studying for for three or four days. I should not have studied that much: it was cake. That, you guessed it, was an up. Then I come to find that one of the members of my project team for Wachovia Bank has been "fired", in essence, because he posted sensitive materials on his personal website, passing them off as portfolio items. He has been asked to resign from the team, and has obliged them. That, well, that is a down. I need some good news. Can't end this day down.
